Where do I find my Google review link?
Every Google Business Profile has its own short link that opens the review form directly. That's the one to put in your QR code, rather than the address of your listing.
Sign in with the right Google account
Use the account that manages your Google Business Profile.
Search Google for your shop's name
Your listing appears with its management buttons above the search results.
Choose “Ask for reviews”
Some accounts still show “Share review form” or “Get more reviews” instead. A window opens with your link.
Copy the link and paste it in above
It will look like https://g.page/r/…/review. Your QR code appears straight away.
From your phone
In the Google Maps app, tap your profile picture and go to your business profile. You'll find the “Ask for reviews” button there as well.
Can't get into the profile? Use the Place ID
Every place on Google Maps has its own ID (Place ID), usually beginning with ChIJ. Search for your shop in Google's finder below, copy the ID and paste it into the box: the tool turns it into your review form link.
Look up your Place ID (Google tool)Where to display your Google review QR code
By the till
Customers already have their phone out when they pay. A small A6 sign stands on the counter without getting in the way.
Wherever people wait
On tables, in the waiting area, by the salon chair: people waiting have time to scan.
With a quick word
“If you enjoyed it, a Google review would really help us, the QR code is just here.” Keep it short and never pressure anyone.
Never offer anything in return for a review, not even money off or a free coffee: Google's rules don't allow it. Ask every customer in the same way and let them say what they think.
Want to ask at just the right time?
A QR code by the till only works if customers remember to scan it. With a Passcard loyalty card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, your regulars receive a review request on their card on the evening of their visit, just once. The link to your review page then stays in their card.

How do I find my Google review link?
Sign in to the account that manages your Business Profile, search Google for your shop and choose “Ask for reviews”. Google then shows a link such as https://g.page/r/…/review, ready to copy.
How do I make a QR code for Google reviews?
Copy your Google review link, paste it into the tool at the top of this page and download the QR code as a PNG or the sign as a PDF. You don't need an account.
Is it free? Will the QR code stop working?
Yes, it's free and needs no sign-up. The QR code contains Google's own link, with no redirect service in the middle, so it keeps working for as long as your profile and its review link exist.
Review link or Place ID: which should I use?
The link from the “Ask for reviews” button is easiest. If you can't get into the profile, the Place ID does the same job: the tool turns it into your review form link.
Will it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The camera on an iPhone and on most Android phones reads QR codes without an app. Customers tap the link that pops up and land on your review form.
How big should I print the QR code?
At least 3 cm across, with a white border around it. The A6 sign suits a counter or till, the A5 a shop window or a wall. For a larger poster, the SVG file stays crisp at any size.
Can I give customers something for leaving a review?
No. Google's rules ban any incentive: money off, a freebie, an extra loyalty stamp or a prize draw. You can ask every customer for a review, in the same way, without promising anything in return.
